This system of obtaining one trademark registration for all countries that are part of the European Union was introduced in 1996 and has since been a great succes. In October 2004 the link was established between the Madrid Protocol and the Community Trademark system, making it possible to designate a Community Trademark as part of an International registration or using a Community Trademark as a basis for an International Registration. In case of office actions by OHIM in Alicante Spain because of (provisional) refusals for registration, we can be of assistance. |
